The Etops connectivity layer employs AI technology to collect and interpret data from various custodians in different formats, via APIs, OpenWealth, EBICS, SWIFT, SFTP, and more. Your custodian and transactional data is received securely through our Data Platform, which then normalizes the data in our secured Data Vault.

Our experienced operations team oversees reconciliation and quality checks. The team enhances the data using additional sources, creating a solid foundation for further processing and analysis by our engines. Any errors or missing information undergo targeted troubleshooting. What is an API?

API is the acronym for Application Programming Interface, which is method for software applications to talk to each other. Each time you use an app like Outlook, send an instant message or check the weather on your phone, you're using an API. Etops has two distinct API's for different purposes, the portfolio analysis API and the Data API.

What is the etopsOS RESTful API?

Our RESTful API portfolio analysis offers the possibility to create evaluations based on key figures for a portfolio or a set of portfolios. The metrics can be grouped across various levels. The retrieval is possible via the REST interface and the communication takes place in JSON format.

What is the etopsOS Data API?

Our Data API offers the possibility to get static data related to you clients, portfolios, mandates and instruments. It can be as easy as retrieving the clients domicile or posting an updated risk profile for a client. The retrieval is possible via the REST interface and the communication takes place in JSON format.
